About Me

I am a poet and writer from Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, in Aotearoa New Zealand.

I write poetry for children, young people, and the young-at-heart, which you can find here. (I also write poetry for adults, under a different name.) I won the 2024 Joy Cowley Award, which means my first picture book will be coming out in 2025. I also have poems published on The Dirigible Balloon.

On my About Me page you can find out more about me and read some of my poems.

I’m a trained teacher and experienced public speaker. Use the For Schools page if your kura is interested in performances, workshops, or professional development for kaiako/teachers.

I also review of children’s books from a feminist perspective at babybookdeltest.wordpress.com
